Customer Background
This company is a leader in Class 8 heavy duty diesel powered truck fuel-heater/water separators and filter systems. They also provide fuel components for medium trucks, bus and coach, marine applications, off-road, military, construction and commercial applications including on and off highway.
Challenge
The customer was looking for an economical parts washer for removing chips from machining, oil and other miscellaneous manufacturing soils. Given the large physical size of the castings to be cleaned, the customer wanted a machine that would fit within their allotted floor space.
Solution
A Cleanparts.com model 6060F front load cabinet washer was selected. The machine includes a 60″ diameter turntable with a 60″ tall product load height. With a load capacity of 3,000 lbs., the heavy duty parts basket allows the customer to wash several castings per cleaning cycle. The roll in door feature saved on valuable floor space and eliminated the need for additional space as required with a traditional swing out door.
