Customer Background
Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) is a Wisconsin-based educational institution offering a wide range of both professional and vocational trade courses for preparing students for today’s workplace opportunities. Students gain valuable, first-hand knowledge through courses that are taught by industry-experienced instructors.
Challenge
The automotive department within MPTC recognized that the auto repair business is very competitive. The instructor recognized a need for an efficient, cost-effective alternative to cleaning a wide variety of engine components that the students normally cleaned manually by hand. A single-stage parts washer was required in order to streamline operations, and better prepare students for future success. The students needed to be able to focus on other more technical aspects of training while the parts were being cleaned.

Solution
The CleanParts Shop Series model 2836F cabinet washer was the answer. The 2836F parts washer is designed for shop environments, where low-volume, cost effective parts cleaning is required. The 2836F incorporates a high flow 60 GPM pump, which pumps a high-pressure wash solution onto the parts at a user-controlled temperature to provide an effective cleaning solution for removing a wide range of greases, oils, and other contaminants.
